Dear friend,

If only you were still around.

I'm still wishing for someone to tell me it's an unfunny joke. I'll scold them, whack them and then laugh my heart out because I'm so relieved it's a joke. The night when I heard the news, I woke up the next morning hoping it's just a bad dream. But it wasn't. The news showed your face, your botak innocent boyish smile.. Even your friendster profile.. Everytime the news came out, I'll rush to the TV to watch, thinking that something might change - you might come back. But I know I'm just living in self denial. I miss you.

Although we were never very very close, you always doted on me like a big brother. You once said I was one of your favourite subcomms, and I'm just really proud of that. We all are. But now, I wish I told you that you were one of my favourite maincomms too.

The last two times I saw you - Tian's wedding and Alan's 21st. At Tian's wedding, you were up to your usual nonsense that made me smile. What a retarded photo you took with Weiwei & I.

I still remember challenging you the Crazy Taxi. In the end, you never won me. We both sucked and had only 3 customers. Now, I'll never have the chance to hear you say, "Eh, let me play leh... Please.. After Angel okay???" It's still ringing so soundly in my head..

And of course, you just had to do something retarded like sleeping with your mouth open at the celebration.

I miss you Clifton Lam.

We were all supposed to meet next week for Kovan Melody.. and you pangseh us again. It's just not the same without you. You have filled my life with a lot of joy and laughter, gave me confidence and you had faith in my skills when I was in Year 1. Thanks for the many opportunities and I'm sorry I never ran for maincomm even though you keep telling me to.

It's just so sad I never said a proper goodbye. I've been crying a lot these days and the strange thing was yesterday when I was crying so hard, I suddenly heard your voice telling me you don't want to see me sad.

And I instantly stopped.

You still live inside my heart, my friend. In all our hearts.

I think most of you will exclaim in shock that I've finally blogged! Yes, but sorry to pop your bubble but it's just going to be a short one.

I've looked through Friendster and mostly went to see H9's profiles. Sigh, yesterday at Wong's celebration - was something I missed so much. The shopping with Sio, Ngiam, Fiq & Vonn was truly fun, bimbotic and missed. :)

The photo taking and mad laughters and everyone snatching for their left profile - yea, I missed that a lot too. Even though it wasn't the full h9&co, I was happy enough to see that most of us were there :) I love you all very much.

Can't wait to finally catch a movie together as H9. BEEN AGES SINCE WE'VE DONE THAT OMG OMG. Ice Age! :D Hahahaha, sigh, I miss them all.

Okay, that's about it. I miss my two longjohnlongtalkslonglaughterslongemoing buddies. I hope I'll see them soon :D

Oh yes. And I love my boy :) Still happily in love, just in case anyone wants to know :)

FIRST DAY OF WORK WENT WELL (:

Everyone was superbly nice. The first day of work was so slack - just touring around, meeting people & having a lunch treat by our supervisors :) Hee.

Big thanks to Jacinth & Cheryl - I'm glad I'm working with you two. Non stop gossiping, bitching & nonsense talking :D YAY to Charlie's Angels hahahahahahahah.

Off day today, can you believe it? :) Heh, we're entitled to choose one weekend and one weekday off!

Can't imagine I'll say this but... can't wait to start work tomorrow :)

Pretty dead sums up the state of my blog.

SIP officially starts in 12 days. I'm looking forward to it but somehow dreading it as well. Working out in the real world only means dealing with more politics, something I'm not very good in handling. Sigh.

Anyway, for all who didn't know, my paternal grandmother passed away. The wake was very saddening, especially seeing all my aunties & my parents crying. I wasn't that close to her, in fact, I never did have much memories about her. But of course, I cried. Not just shedding crocodile tears like some people did, but honestly, tears of sadness.

It pains me to see my dad break down because to me, my dad has always been an icon of my life. He did so much for my grandmother and I hope everyone appreciates it. Even if they didn't, I know my dad wouldn't mind, as long as he knows he did all he could.

Surprisingly, my sister cried a lot and she was very disturbed by the incident. I guess this incident has somehow matured her in a way, and I'm glad for that. How it matured her I don't know either, but I'm sure it did.

For me, all I know is life is short. When you're still alike and kicking, you bear grudges, you hate people but once you're almost close to death, almost one leg in that coffin - I guess all these don't matter anymore.

It was an experience for me I must say. I haven't been to funerals before and it was my first one. So many customs, so many rules and superstitions to follow, it was mind boggling. Many strange and unexplainable things happened but I guess it's all nature's doing. Funny how they happened.

One person I would have to thank is my boy. Thanks for rushing out of camp just to accompany me, to accompany me by staying up all night even though you're dead tired. I love you and I think my family loves you too :) Thanks for doing all these for me, I appreciate & love you even more :)
